Spread & Cushion: Morton's Neuroma Forefoot Kit

Who it's for

For people with burning, tingling or a 'pebble in the shoe' feeling in the ball of the foot, often between the third and fourth toes, such as from a Morton's neuroma. A slim 3/4 orthotic, metatarsal domes and a gel met bar sleeve are designed to support the forefoot and help relieve pressure on the area. Wear roomy, low-heeled shoes. See a podiatrist if numbness or pain persists, and always check with a health professional first if you have diabetes.

What's in the box

  • Footbionics 3/4 EZ-Fit orthotic: a slim three-quarter-length orthotic designed to support your arches in everyday and dress shoes (choose your shoe size)
  • Formthotics metatarsal domes, Size 1 (30 × 42mm), 5 pairs: self-adhesive pads that sit just behind the ball of the foot to help spread the forefoot bones
  • PhysiPod met bar sleeve: a gel forefoot sleeve with a metatarsal bar that cushions the ball of the foot (choose left or right foot)

How to use

  • Orthotic: Take out your shoe's removable insole, if there is one, and slide the orthotic in, heel first. Build up wear time over a week or two.
  • Domes: Stick a dome on the orthotic or insole so it sits just behind (not under) the painful ball of the foot. Ideally have a podiatrist help you position it. Move it if it feels uncomfortable.
  • Met bar sleeve: Slip the sleeve over your toes so the gel bar sits just behind the ball of the foot. Use it in shoes where you can't fit the orthotic.

Questions before you buy

Which sizes should I choose?

Choose the orthotic by shoe size, XS (Men's 3–4.5 / Women's 5–6.5) to XL (Men's 11–12), and the met bar sleeve for the foot that hurts. The kit includes Size 1 domes (30 × 42mm), which suit most adult feet. Size 2 is sold separately if you need a larger dome.

Where should the dome go?

Just behind the ball of the foot, not directly under the painful spot. If you're unsure, ask a podiatrist to place it.

When should I see a podiatrist?

If pain or numbness persists, gets worse, or you have diabetes or poor circulation, see a podiatrist or GP.

Not sure which size to pick?

Each option above shows the size range for that item, and each item's own page (linked under What's in the kit) has more sizing detail. If you're between sizes or unsure, contact us before you order and we'll help you choose.

When will my order arrive and what does shipping cost?

We send every order with Australia Post. Orders are usually dispatched within 1–3 business days, and you'll get a tracking link by email. Metro deliveries usually arrive within a few business days of dispatch; regional and remote areas can take longer. Shipping is $9.95, or free on orders of $59 or more. See our Shipping Policy.

Can I return it if it doesn't suit me?

Yes. Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for items that are unused, unworn and in their original packaging. Please contact us first; return postage for change of mind is paid by you. For hygiene reasons, gel and silicone items that have been opened or worn, orthotics that have been worn or trimmed, and opened creams or lotions can't be returned for change of mind. Faulty items are covered under the Australian Consumer Law. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval. See our Refund Policy.

Can I buy the items separately?

Yes, each item is linked under What's in the kit. Buying them together in the kit costs less than buying them one by one at our current prices.

Please note: these products are designed to support comfort and are not a substitute for medical advice. If pain is severe, came on suddenly, or doesn't settle, please see your GP, podiatrist or physiotherapist. Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
